Do you know vertical turbine fire pump?

The vertical turbine fire pump is a circulating water pump with seawater as the overflow medium. Its function is to provide flushing water to the drum rotary filter to ensure that impurities and marine life are flushed away in a timely manner, thus bringing clean seawater downstream. The vertical turbine pump is installed on a seawater take-off platform outside the circulation pump house and draws seawater from the drum filter. The outlet is equipped with a backwash filter and shut-off valve, and external industrial water provides cooling water for the pump’s packing when the pump is started.

The vertical turbine pump is a vertical single-stage multi-suction centrifugal pump. The impeller is mounted below the flowing water level in the well. The power machine is placed on the well. The impeller is driven by a long shaft to rotate in the inflow casing. Water flows along the guide casing and the impeller. The flow path between them is lifted to the surface through the water pipe. When the head is high, a multi-stage centrifugal pump with multiple impellers in series can be used.
