How does a vertical turbine pump work?

This product is a 400gpm@90psi Vertical turbine pump, which is a kind of centrifugal pump. From the perspective of centrifugal pump, it is improved from the performance of the submerged pump. This pump can be used to transport rainwater, oxidation Iron sheet water, sewage, corrosive industrial wastewater, seawater and other liquids. Widely used in water companies, sewage treatment plants, steel plants, mines and other industrial and mining enterprises, as well as municipal water supply and drainage, farmland irrigation, flood control and drainage projects.

Vertical turbine pump is a widely used pump in deep well pumps, and is generally used in motor-driven wells. The deep well pump is mainly composed of three parts: the upper part is the motor, the middle part is the water delivery pipe and the lower end of the transmission shaft, which is the working part of the deep well pump, which is submerged below the well water surface. Due to the depth of the well, higher pressure is required.
Long-axis deep well pumps can be divided into segmented multi-stage vertical centrifugal pumps. According to the structural characteristics of the deep well pump, correct use and timely troubleshooting are crucial to the safe operation of the deep well pump and prolonging its service life.
Before starting the pump, the suction pipe and the pump must be filled with liquid. After the pump is turned on, the impeller rotates at a high speed, and the liquid in it rotates with the blades. Under the action of centrifugal force, it flies away from the impeller and is ejected outward. The ejected liquid gradually slows down in the diffusion chamber of the pump casing, and the pressure gradually increases. Outlet, the discharge pipe flows out.
At this time, a vacuum low-pressure area with neither air nor liquid is formed at the center of the blade due to the liquid being thrown around. The liquid in the liquid pool flows into the pump through the suction pipe under the action of the atmospheric pressure on the pool surface, and the liquid is thus continuous. It is continuously sucked up from the liquid pool and continuously flows out of the discharge pipe.
