Self-priming Fire Pump
Self-priming pump is a kind of self-priming centrifugal pump, which has the advantages of convenient operation, stable operation, easy maintenance, compact structure, long service life, high efficiency and strong self-priming ability. It does not need to install a bottom valve in the pipeline, as long as there is a quantitative suction liquid stored in the pump body before working, and different liquids can use self-priming pumps of different materials.
The self-priming pump adopts a pump body structure with axial liquid return. The pump body consists of a liquid storage chamber, a vortex chamber, a suction chamber, a gas-liquid separation chamber and a liquid return hole. After the self-priming pump starts normally, the impeller sucks the liquid stored in the suction cavity and the air in the suction pipe together, and the inside of the impeller is completely mixed. Under the action of centrifugal force, the liquid is taken away and flows to the outer edge of the scroll, and a white foam belt and a high-speed rotating liquid ring are formed on the outer edge of the impeller. The gas-liquid mixture enters the gas-liquid separation chamber through the diffusion tube. At this time, due to the sharp decrease in flow rate, the lighter gas is separated from the mixed gas-liquid, the gas continues to rise and is discharged through the discharge port of the pump body. The degassed liquid returns to the liquid storage chamber and enters the impeller again through the return hole, where it is mixed with the gas sucked in from the suction line inside the impeller, and rotates the impeller under the action of high pressure, and then flows to the outer edge of the impeller. With the repeated movement of the process, the air in the suction line continues to decrease until the gas is exhausted and the self-priming process is completed, and the pump can enter the normal operating state.
