Single Suction Fire Pump
The single-suction pump sucks in horizontally and axially, and spit out radially upwards. The pump is a suspension structure, and the rotor parts can be withdrawn for maintenance without disassembling the inlet and outlet pipelines during maintenance. The pump is connected with the motor through a common elastic coupling or an extended elastic coupling, and the shaft seal of the pump is sealed with a soft packing. The bearing is a single row radial ball bearing, lubricated with lubricating oil. From the motor side, the pump rotates clockwise.
Advantages of single suction pump:
1. The horizontal single-suction pump can be highly efficient and energy-saving. The flow channel design of the single-suction pump has been optimized to ensure that the single-stage single-suction pump has an effective mathematical model, thereby improving the efficiency of the single-suction pump.
2. Excellent high temperature resistance. Because the pump body adopts the center support method, it can effectively prevent the expansion at high temperature, and the stress concentration caused by the change of the center coupling when the single-stage single-suction pump is pumping high-temperature medium. The bearing part, bracket, mechanical seal gland and pump cover are equipped with cooling chambers, which can be cooled with cold water or air at different temperatures.
