Equipment control function description
The equipment is designed to have one use and one standby function. The main pump runs
normally, and the standby pump starts automatically after the main pump fault .Control
cabinet with two start ways: remote start function and site start. (DC24V provided; Two
startup modes are available for users to select)
◆ Automatic start state
First, the switch to the “automatic” position, and then the remote startup instruction
sent. Upon receiving the startup instruction, it will immediately enter the running state, and
then the corresponding fire pump (jockey pump) indicator light on, the system will run the
main pump.Stop the running fire pump (jockey pump)remove the remote start instruction.
◆ Manual start state
First, put the switch to the “manual” position, press “fire pump start up” or “pressure
jockey pump start up” , then fire pump (jockey pump)operation indication lights on, then
enter the running state. When the fire pump (jockey pump) is running, press the “fire pump
stop or jockey pump stop button and the fire pump (jockey pump )stops running

The single-suction pump sucks in horizontally and axially, and spit out radially upwards. The pump is a suspension structure, and the rotor parts can be withdrawn for maintenance without disassembling the inlet and outlet pipelines during maintenance. The pump is connected with the motor through a common elastic coupling or an extended elastic coupling, and the shaft seal of the pump is sealed with a soft packing. The bearing is a single row radial ball bearing, lubricated with lubricating oil. From the motor side, the pump rotates clockwise.

Type D & DG multistage pumps are used for feeding low and middle pressure boiler water or for pumping other middle pressure water. The temperature of pumped medium oftype D are not more than 80C and type DG110℃
Type D& DG pumps are horizontal single-suction centrifugal pump with ring section body. The position of suction port of type D is arranged horizontal and that of type DG is vertically up. The position of discharge port is arranged vertically up.
The shaft sealing of these pumps are sealed with soft-packing. At the location of the shaft sealing, there is a renewab le sleeve to protect the shaft.
The pumps are directly driven by the motor through the flexible coupling.
The rotating directions of the pumps are clockwise, when viewed pump from the driving end.
