What are the main components of a vertical turbine pump?
The vertical turbine pump is a vertical pump composed of single or multiple centrifugal or mixed-flow impellers, guide casing, riser pipe, transmission shaft, pump base, motor and other components. The pump base and the motor are located on the upper part of the wellhead (or pool), and the power of the motor is transmitted to the impeller shaft through the transmission shaft concentric with the water pipe, driving the impeller to generate flow and lift.
Features of vertical turbine pumps:
1. It is a vertical multi-stage water intake equipment with a small footprint, the working parts can be extended to less than 100 meters to extract fluid media, and there are many driving methods.
2. According to different usage conditions such as pumping media, motors with different materials, different structures and different requirements can be provided to meet the needs of customers in various working conditions.
3. It has the characteristics of large flow range, high head, compact structure and stable operation.
